BOONE, N.C. – Georgia State men's soccer capped the regular season with an impressive 3-0 road victory over Appalachian State Saturday night at the Ted Mackorell Soccer Complex, getting a pair of goals from junior forward Aris Briggs.
The win moved the Panthers to 10-4-3 on the year and 2-3 in league play. GSU head coach Brett Surrency has now led Georgia State to double-digit wins in four consecutive seasons and earned career win No. 99 on Saturday, one victory away from becoming just the second head coach in school history to reach 100 career wins.
