MONROE, La. - After being tied at halftime, Georgia State compiled an 18-0 run in the third quarter to pull away from ULM and win 56-41 Saturday at Fant-Ewing Coliseum.
Allison Johnson's 15 points led Georgia State and Madison Ervin matched her season-high with 12 points, nine of which came in the second quarter.
Walnatia Wright contributed in the paint with nine points and a team-leading 10 rebounds. The Panthers out-rebounded the Warhawks 34-27.
ULM got off to a hot start, leading 19-9 after the first quarter. Shots finally began to fall in the second period as Ervin pulled the Panthers back with three 3-pointers before halftime.
