ATLANTA – Georgia State men’s basketball senior Malik Benlevi has been named GSU Student-Athlete of the Week after recording his second double-double of the season to give the Panthers a 90-85 win over Georgia Southern and claim the Sun Belt Conference Regular Season title on Saturday afternoon in Statesboro.
Benlevi finished with 18 points and 10 rebounds to go along with three blocked shots while shooting 7-of-10 from the floor with a pair of 3-pointers. He garnered double-doubles in the first and last games of the regular season.
For the season, Benlevi is averaging 11.
