ATLANTA -- Preseason practice is underway, and for the first time, the Georgia State football program is practicing and conducting its entire operation at Georgia State Stadium, thanks to the new football operations suite completed last spring.
Georgia State opens the season Aug. 31 at Tennessee (3:30 p.m. at Neyland Stadium), and then the Panthers' home opener is Saturday, Sept. 7 at 7 p.m. vs. Furman at Georgia State Stadium. Season, single-game and group tickets are on sale now at GeorgiaStateSports.com/tix or by calling 404-413-4020.
Head coach Shawn Elliott gave the media a behind-the-scenes tour of the facilities, including the new weight room, athletic training room, meeting rooms and office space, all located at field level of Georgia State Stadium.
