ATLANTA -- Fifth-year senior Lily Barron has appeared in 44 matches for the Georgia State women's soccer team while balancing a grueling school schedule as a nursing major.
Barron redshirted her freshman year after an injury before playing in 13 and 14 games as a sophomore and junior, respectively. Last season Barron made 17 appearances including nine starts. She finished with 14 total shots and matched her career-high of four shots in a single contest against Kennesaw State on Aug. 25.
While being a productive member of the soccer team, Barron had to balance practices and games with academic duties from being a nursing major.
