EMERSON, Ga. – For the second-straight day, the Georgia State beach volleyball team split a pair of matches at the CCSA Championship at the LakePoint Sporting Complex. The Panthers opened the day with a tough 5-0 loss to top-seed Florida State before earning an impressive 5-0 win over UNC Wilmington in the final match of pool play.
In the opener, the Seminoles took all five matches in straight sets. The Panthers put up a challenge on all five courts and nearly forced a third set in multiple matches, but the No. 7-ranked Seminoles were too match to overcome.
