ATLANTA-Georgia State Director of Athletics Charlie Cobb announced on Friday that the contract of head baseball coach Greg Frady will not be renewed.
Georgia State recently finished the 2018-19 season with a 15-41 mark, failing to qualify for the Sun Belt Conference tournament.
In 13 years with the Panthers, Frady compiled a record of 370-365-1.
“Greg has meant a great deal to our baseball team and I truly have a lot of respect for him,” Cobb said. “However, at this time we feel a change is necessary. I would like to thank Greg for everything he has done for our program over the last 13 years and wish him all the best of luck in the future.
