Offensive tackle Hunter Atkinson and punter Brandon Wright are the newest Panther Pros as both signed National League Football free agent contracts following the 2020 NFL Draft.
Atkinson signed with the Atlanta Falcons, while Wright will be joining the Jacksonville Jaguars.
In signing with the Falcons, Atkinson not only remains in Atlanta, but he joins his hometown team, literally. He attended West Hall High School and lives in Flowery Branch, the Atlanta suburb that is the site of the Falcons' headquarters and training complex.
Atkinson was a two-time All-Sun Belt Conference selection and a four-year starter at left tackle for Georgia State, including two bowl games.
