The Sun Belt Conference announced a partnership that will send a Sun Belt football team to the NOVA® Home Loans Arizona Bowl, beginning in 2016.
This year’s NOVA® Home Loans Arizona Bowl will be played on Friday, Dec. 30, 2016 at University of Arizona Stadium in Tucson, Ariz., and will feature a matchup between the Sun Belt and the Mountain West. The game time will be announced in early June.
Both the Mountain West and Sun Belt Conference have committed to sending teams to the NOVA® Home Loans Arizona Bowl for the 2016-2019 seasons.
The Sun Belt Conference’s partnership with the NOVA® Home Loans Arizona Bowl gives the conference five total primary bowl partners in addition to the College Football Playoff:
