ATLANTA – Angela Alonso and Lotte Meyberg were selected to the 2019 Google Cloud Academic All-District 4 Team announced by Collegiate Sports Information Directors of America Tuesday.
The 2019 Google Cloud Academic All-District® Men's and Women's Track & Field/Cross Country Teams, selected by CoSIDA, recognize the nation’s top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom.
Alonso, a junior from Valladolid, Spain, holds a 4.02 GPA as a political science major. She won a Sun Belt Indoor Championship in the mile earlier this semester and at the 2019 Sun Belt Outdoor Championship, Alonso placed second in the 1500m to earn eight team points for GSU.
