ORLANDO - Last weekend the Georgia State All-Girl Cheerleader squad competed for the first time in school history at the Universal Cheerleaders Association's (UCA) College Cheerleading and Dance Team National Championships at the Disney Wide World of Sports Complex in Orlando Florida.
The team qualified for the championships by being a trophy winner this past summer at the UCA College Camp held at East Tennessee State in Johnson City, Tenn.
In Orlando the team placed ninth in the nation among some of the strongest NCAA Division I All-Girl squad in the country including ULM, Bowling Green, UMass, New Mexico, San Diego State, Ole Miss, Temple, and the division winner UNLV.
