JONESBORO, ARK. – Georgia State had 18 top-five finishes, including two first-places and five second-showings at the 12-team Arkansas State Indoor Track and Field Invitational.
Nuria Ramirez won the 800m race (2:19.69) among the 22 competitors, while Stephanie Berger ran a personal-best in the 5,000m run (17:37.77) to win that event.
LaPorscha Wells posted two second-place finishes in the weight throw and shot put. The sophomore was second in the shot put (15.39m, 50-6) among the 24 throwers and second in the weight room (18.62m, 61-1.25) among the 22 weight throwers.
