ATLANTA – A total of 18 current and former Panther student-athletes were scheduled to walk across the stage Wednesday as a part of Georgia State’s Fall Commencement at the Georgia Dome. Nine different sports were represented among the group.
Lisa M. Borders, the chair of The Coca-Cola Foundation and Vice President of Global Community Affairs for The Coca-Cola Company delivered the keynote address to all students.
With the Georgia State football team en route to Orlando for the AutoNation Cure Bowl on Saturday and student-athletes not able to participate in commencement exercises, a special graduation ceremony will be held for the group in Orlando later this week.
