A select group of 15 Georgia State track and field athletes will compete Thursday through Sunday, March 31-April 2 in the 76th Pepsi Florida Relays in Gainesville, Ga. The event, first held in 1939, is held at James G. Pressly Stadium at Percy Beard Track on the campus of Florida.
Competitors must all meet qualifying standards to enter, so the level of skill in comparable to NCAA postseason. The temperatures near 80, plus some Florida humidity, missed with a mondo track surface is challenging and conducive to good results.
GSU will have entrants in 10 running events and three field events over the three days.
