Former Georgia Southern kicker Younghoe Koo is expected to be signed by the New England Patriots to their practice squad, per ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
The former Lou Groza finalist hasn’t played professional football since his short-stint with AAF team Atlanta Legends where he went 14-for-14. In 2017, Koo was signed by the Los Angeles Chargers where he went 3-for-6 with a long of 41 yards.
As a senior, Koo went 19-for-20 at GS.
Koo was signed along with Mike Nugent after the Super Bowl champions lost Stephen Gostkowski for the season.
