KIAWAH ISLAND, S.C. – The Georgia Southern women's golf team shot a 316 in the second round of the Edwin Watts Kiawah Island Spring Classic Monday and fell to 24th in the team standings.
Tabbed as the largest collegiate golf tournament in the country, the 2016 edition of the Edwin Watts/Kiawah Island Spring Classic features 41 teams in the field and is being played on two courses for the three-day, 54-hole tournament – Osprey Point and Oak Point. After today's round, the top-20 teams will play for the championship at Osprey Point during the final round, and the Eagles will compete for a flight championship at Oak Point.
