STATESBORO, Ga. – Members of the Georgia Southern women's basketball team visited five local elementary and middle schools on Tuesday ahead of their against Robert Morris which is being dubbed Field Trip Day. Close to 1,200 students from the five schools will be attending Thursday's 11 a.m. game between the Eagles and Colonials and the team wanted to make sure that the students felt welcomed and knew a little about their home team.
The five schools that the players visited and that will be sending students to the game include Langston Chapel Elementary, Langston Chapel Middle, Portal Elementary, Mill Creek Elementary and William James Middle.
