The women’s basketball team opened its season with a 92-47 win over Fort Valley State in an exhibition game in Hanner Fieldhouse on Tuesday night.

First Half

The Eagles led the first quarter 15-6, and ended the first half leading the wildcats 39-17, with the help from a 14-0 run in the second quarter. They shot 36.6 percent from the floor, and 25 percent from beyond the arc.
