STATESBORO - The Georgia Southern football team wrapped up its spring football session Friday night with the Blue-White Spring Game, presented by Southern Exchange and Georgia National Guard, with Team Blue downing Team White 11-9 in front of a crowd of approximately 1,900.
Alex Raynor opened the scoring for Team Blue hitting a 23-yard field goal before Team White responded with nine points to take the lead. Justin Tomlin connected with Darius Lewis on a 19-yard pass and then Tyler Bride's interception gave the squad two more points to end the first half.
