ATHENS, GA. – Georgia Southern Swimming & Diving opened the 2016 Coastal Collegiate Sports Association Championships in fourth place after three events at the end of day one. Emma Weisel carried the flag for the Eagles by winning the 3M Diving event with a school record score of 294.90. The Eagles closed the evening with a third place finish in the 800 Free Relay in a school record time of 7:26.10.
