NEW ORLEANS – Georgia Southern's NaJ Watson and Texas State's Elisabet Runarsdottir each set personal-best marks to earn the first Sun Belt Women's Outdoor Track & Field Athletes of the Weekly honors of the season.
Women's Outdoor Track Athlete of the Week Eagle freshman NaJ Watson broke the Georgia Southern record in the 200 with a time of 23.23 at the Black and Gold Invite in the Eagles' outdoor season opener. Her time is the best in the country, and she leads the Sun Belt in the event.
