FOLEY, Ala.– After finishing the regular season 9-4 in Sun Belt contests, Georgia Southern volleyball (20-5, 9-4) has earned the two seed in the East division and will be facing off against South Alabama (15-10, 11-4), the third seed in the West, in the quarterfinals of the Sun Belt Tournament.
The match will be played on Friday, Nov. 22, and air at 8:00 p.m. Eastern time. It will be a rematch of last year's quarterfinal round, in which the Jags swept Georgia Southern on Nov. 17, 2023.
Georgia Southern earned this seed after a 20-5 regular season and a 9-4 mark in SBC contests, notching its second consecutive 20-win season and most Sun Belt wins in program history.
