The Georgia Southern Volleyball team looked to put a stop to their two match losing streak, as they hosted two conference opponents over the weekend.
The Eagles squared off with Troy on Friday night from Hanner Fieldhouse, where they fell to the Trojans 3-2.
Troy’s Cheyenne Hayes tallied a whopping 21 kills, 12 digs and three aces to lead her squad to victory from Statesboro.
Skylar Ball led GS, also tallying 21 kills, a new career-high for her, but it wasn’t enough as the Eagles dropped their third straight match.
The Eagles had to try and shake off Friday night’s loss quickly, as they had to make a quick turnaround and take on South Alabama on Saturday night.
