According to WJCL and multiple other sources, Georgia Southern head coach Tyson Summers has been let go.

After going 5-7 last season and starting this year 0-6, Summers was under intense heat from the fan base and donors to the GS athletic foundation.
Multiple donors threatened to cease their contributions to the foundation over the course of Summers' loss-plagued tenure, according to emails obtained by the George-Anne.
