STATESBORO - Georgia Southern women's soccer standouts Isabel Kopp and Elis Nemtsov have inked contracts with clubs overseas in order to further their professional careers on the pitch.
Kopp, who has spent the last three season with the Eagles, will return to her native Netherlands to play for Fortuna Sittard in Sittard-Geleen, Netherlands. The Haarlem native played in 58 matches over her three seasons in Statesboro, starting 33, tallying two goals and six assists for 10 points. She tallied the game-winning goal in the Eagles' 3-1 win over Louisiana last season and also notched a goal against North Florida.
