PHILADELPHIA & ORLANDO– The Georgia Southern track & field team had success in both its events this weekend, highlighted by the 4x100 team breaking the school record in the event at the Penn Relays.
The team of Shatalya Dorsett, Emani George, Devine Parker and NaJ Watson ran to a time of 44.19 in the preliminary heat of the 4x100, shattering the school record of 44.50 set in 2014 by the team of Alyssa Felton, Jasmin Walker, Aarian Tipton and Jordan Fordham.
In the finals, the squad placed 4th with a time of 44.
