BIRMINGHAM, Ala – Two Eagles claimed individual titles as the Georgia Southern track and field team took sixth place at the Sun Belt Conference Indoor Championships on Tuesday at Birmingham Crossplex.
Imani Moore took home her first conference title securing the win in the long jump with a mark of 6.22m. Moore got off to a hot start jumping 6.05m in her first attempt before ensuring the win in the final attempt with the championship mark, 6.22m. In the triple jump, Moore took third place with a mark of 12.70m.
Shatalya Dorsett picked up her first individual conference title winning the 60m dash with a new school record and personal best time of 7.
