Columbia, S.C --- The Georgia Southern Swim and Dive Team place 7th of 10 teams at the Gamecock Invitational this past week, as it included teams such as South Carolina, North Carolina, and Vanderbilt.
The team did well overall, but it was Zuri Clavo's 1650 free mark that stole the meet as she broke the school record in the mile with her 17:05.79. Additionally, her split broke the 1000 team record at the start of her mile at 10:19:71.
Notable results from the three days in Columbia included Ieva Evaltaite's 11th place finish in the 100 Breast Finals, with her mark of 1:03.
