STATESBORO - Georgia Southern women's tennis heads to Peachtree City this week with a lot of momentum as the 2023 Sun Belt Conference Tournament gets underway on Wednesday. The Eagles are the No. 4 seed in the tournament and take on No. 13-seed Southern Miss at 9:30 a.m. in first round action.
An outstanding regular season for the Eagles sees Georgia Southern come into the postseason with a 17-5 overall record and an 8-3 mark in the Sun Belt. The team tied for third in the regular season league standings and the eight Sun Belt wins are a new program high since Georgia Southern joined the league in 2014.
