STATESBORO, Ga. - The Sun Belt Conference released Friday the football stagger for the 2016 football season, announcing the eight conference opponents for each school.
Georgia Southern plays UL-Monroe, Troy, Appalachian State and UL-Lafayette at Paulson Stadium in the 2016 season and will hit the road to face off against Arkansas State, Georgia State, South Alabama and New Mexico State. The dates for these games have yet to be released.
The Eagles will also play in four non-conference games during the 2016 season, at home against Savannah State on Sept. 3, and at Western Michigan (9/24), Ole Miss (11/5) and Georgia Tech (11/19).
