STATESBORO – Georgia Southern's Steven Fisk has been named the Sun Belt Conference Men's Golfer of the Week, the league announced today.
It's the sixth time in his career and the second time this season that he has earned the honor.
Fisk won two tournaments, giving him four in a row to compete the fall. He is the first player in school history to win four-straight tournaments and now has seven for his career, which is one away from the school record, set by Jodie Mudd from 1979-82.
Now ranked 18th in the country by Golfstat, Fisk posted a scoring average of 66.
