MONTGOMERY, Ala. – South Alabama's three-run home run to the tie the ballgame in the second, helped guide the Jaguars to a 10-3 victory on Sunday afternoon in Montgomery. The Eagles fall to 34-23 on the season, while the Jaguars improve to 33-20.
The Eagles opened up the scoring in the first inning with a solo home run to left field by Mason McWhorter. Georgia Southern would add two more to increase their lead in the second to 3-0, with a Noah Searcy sacrifice fly and a Steven Curry single.
