MOBILE - Olivia Lackie spun a two-hit shutout to lead South Alabama softball to a 4-0 Sun Belt victory over visiting Georgia Southern on Sunday afternoon in Mobile.
The Jaguars avenge last season's Sun Belt sweep at the hand of the Eagles by completing the three-game series sweep, moving to 23-17 overall and 15-4 in the league. Georgia Southern falls to 11-32 overall and 4-17 in the Sun Belt. The Eagles will wrap up the 2022 regular season by hosting Georgia State in a three-game league series, which begins at 6 p.m. on Thursday at Eagle Field.
