ORLANDO, Fla. – The Georgia Southern softball team notched its second power 4 win of the season with a 4-1 victory over UCF on Sunday at the UCF Softball Complex.
Georgia Southern (11-8) scored in each of the first three innings and was once again stellar in the circle tossing 6.2 innings allowing just one run on six hits and picked up three strikeouts.
Georgia Southern struck first in the opening frame to take an early, 1-0, lead. and recorded back-to-back singles before walked to load the bases. With two outs, punched a single up the middle to put a run on the board.
