Georgia Southern struck first in the second inning to take an early 1-0 lead. led off the inning with a hit by pitch before singled up to the middle to put runners on first and second. drew an infield single to load the bases before drove in the first run of the game on an RBI infield single.
The Eagles extended its lead in the fourth scoring two runs on one hit. led off the inning reaching on a throwing error and advanced to second before scoring on a second Bull error.
