MADEIRA BEACH, Fla. - Georgia Southern dropped a pair of games to close out the Spring Games at Madeira Beach on Sunday, falling to Nebraska-Omaha and Middle Tennessee.
The Eagles (5-11) fell to the Mavericks, 3-0, and to the Blue Raiders, 9-8, in eight innings to finish their week-long trip to Florida. Georgia Southern will now turn its attention to Sun Belt Conference play, opening up the league slate with a series at UL Monroe. The three-game series begins on Friday, March 11, with a 5 p.m. ET first pitch from Monroe.
