BOONE, N.C.- Georgia Southern volleyball (15-2, 5-1 SBC) used an unconscious performance from middle blocker Lydia Seymour to bounce back from a loss and take down App State (10-7, 4-2) in four sets on Saturday.
"It was a total team effort. Yesterday was a tough five-set battle," head coach Chad Willis said. "We did a lot of really good things statistically, but ultimately came up short in some key stretches and key opportunities. To turn around and grab a road win against a quality App team, I am proud of the team for bouncing back and staying the course.
