Statesboro, Ga. --- The Georgia Southern baseball team (10-6, 0-0 SBC) completed the sweep of Brown (0-10, 0-0 Ivy) by scores of 9-1 and 5-4, respectively, on a doubleheader Saturday afternoon (March 8th).
After both teams would record a hit each in the opening frame of game one, the Eagles would get on the scoreboard first in the bottom of the second as an error by the Bears' third baseman with the bases loaded would plate a lone run before Brown would escape the inning.
