STATESBORO - Three-time All-Sun Belt Conference women's soccer standout Sade Heinrichs has become the latest Georgia Southern player to ink a contract with a club team overseas, joining CS Maritimo in Portugal to pursue her dreams of playing professionally.
The 2022 Sun Belt Defensive Player of the Year, Heinrichs finished her four-year Eagle career as one of the most decorated players in Georgia Southern history. Earned first team All-Sun Belt Conference honors for a second straight year in 2023 and is the only Georgia Southern women's soccer player to earn All-Conference honors three times in a career.
