STATESBORO, Ga. - The Georgia Southern women's basketball team wraps up the 2017-18 regular season by hosting South Alabama and Troy this week in Sun Belt Conference action at Hanner Fieldhouse. The Eagles will look to improve their Sun Belt seeding, beginning Thursday by hosting the Jaguars at 5 p.m.
Georgia Southern (5-22, 2-14 SBC) is currently 11th in the Sun Belt standings, one game behind Georgia State (3-13), and the Eagles would need to sweep both of this week's games and have the Panthers lose both in order to move ahead of them into 10th.
