STATESBORO - The Georgia Southern men's soccer team battled with the visiting Stetson Hatters, ending the evening with a 1-1 draw at Eagle Field on Wednesday, August 16. Georgia Southern will have one more tune-up game against Clayton State on Aug. 19 before entering into the regular season on Aug. 24 in a road match against ETSU.
It took less than five minutes for Georgia Southern to take the lead in the match as Zachary Martin rebounded his own penalty kick save and pushed the ball past the goalkeeper, giving the Eagles a big 1-0 lead on the night.
