JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - North Florida spun a three-hit shutout to claim a 4-0 non-conference softball victory over visiting Georgia Southern on Wednesday afternoon at the UNF Softball Complex.
The Ospreys moved to 12-8 on the season with the win, while Georgia Southern fell to 13-11. The Eagles return to action on Friday, hosting Coastal Carolina in the first game of a three-game Sun Belt Conference series at Eagle Field. Friday's game time has been moved up to 2 p.m. from its originally scheduled 5:30 p.m. time due to expected weather issues.
