MOBILE, Ala. – The 25th-ranked Georgia Southern baseball team took down South Alabama 7-4 behind an early offensive showcase on Saturday night at Eddie Stanky Field. The win gave the Eagles the series win against the Jaguars.
The Eagles (26-12, 13-4 SBC) took the lead in the top of the first inning for the second straight night as a Noah Ledford two-RBI triple brought home Jason Swan and Christian Avant, giving the Eagles an early lead. GS would add on to its lead in the second inning, where a two-RBI single from Swan plated Sam Blancato and Kyler Hultgren to add onto the Eagles' lead.
