PALO ALTO, Calif. – For the first time since 2010, the Georgia Southern men's golf team is headed to the NCAA Championship. The Eagles took fourth place at the NCAA Stanford Golf Regional with a -6 three-day total to advance as the No. 10 seed in the regional. Joining Georgia Southern out of the Stanford Regional are No. 12 Stanford, No. 2 Arizona State, No. 26 North Carolina and No. 14 LSU.
While other teams started to drop, the Eagles stayed the course and finished with their third straight 2-under-par 278. Solid scores across the board paved the way for a trip to Fayetteville, Arkansas, next weekend.
