Former Georgia Southern wide receiver Montay Crockett has been pulled up off the the Jacksonville Jaguars' practice squad to the team's active 53-man roster.
The rookie from Rock Hill, South Carolina, replaces Jaelen Strong, who tore his ACL on Sunday, on the team's roster.
Crockett had a standout Pro Day on campus, but went as an undrafted free agent signing of the Green Bay Packers. He appeared in three preseason games, catching one pass for 12 yards. He was one of the final cuts on the cut day and bounced around for two months, trying out with the Chicago Bears and Houston Texans before landing with the Jacksonville Jaguars' practice squad on Oct.
