BOILING SPRINGS, NC - The Georgia Southern men's tennis team snapped a nine-match win streak by the Gardner-Webb Runnin' Dogs with a 4-3 victory on Sunday afternoon in Boiling Springs, NC. The win moves the Eagles to 7-3 on the season while GWU fell to 9-3.
Gardner-Webb jumped out to a 1-0 lead on the afternoon after taking the doubles point with 7-6 victories on both the No. 1 and No 3 positions. At the No. 2 position, Aaron James Williams and Alexandros Roumpis were able to claim a 7-5 victory to avoid the sweep in the doubles.
