ASHEVILLE, N.C..- Twice in a row, the Georgia Southern men's tennis team outscored their opponent 4-2-- on Friday, taking down UNC Asheville after doing the same to Kennesaw State earlier in the week. The newest triumph pushes the Eagles to 11-5 in spring play.
"We played against a tough UNC-A team. They threw everything at us, and we were able to fend them off," head coach Sander Koning said. "I have to give credit to the guys; they were faced with a lot of adversity and kept their heads in the game."
Although the Eagles fell behind after doubles, they were able to switch it around in singles.
