Men’s Golf is Two Back after 36 holes of the Sun Belt Championship

EL DORADO, Ark. – Ben Carr paced the Georgia Southern men's golf team with a 75 Monday at Mystic Creek Golf Club, and the Eagles are in second place after 36 holes of the Sun Belt Championship.

Georgia Southern (+25) is two shots behind Little Rock (+23) and six ahead of third-place UTA (+31). Appalachian State (+32) and ULM are tied for fourth. The top four teams advance to match play Wednesday.

The course played extremely difficult today as no individual managed to shoot par and no team shot below 300. Only the 338-yard, par-4 11th hole is playing under par for the tournament.
