NEW ORLEANS – Members of the Georgia Southern men's basketball team made their third annual trip to Samuel J. Green Charter School Thursday in New Orleans.
The Eagles visited a kindergarten class for about an hour. After Dominique Bullock, David Georgiev, James Holder, Deshaven Reynolds and Brandon Wimberly introduced themselves, Director of Operations Rob Burke and the Eagles spoke to the children and a handful of seventh and eighth graders about the importance of working hard on the court and in the classroom.
"There are two classrooms at school," said Burke.
