STATESBORO– Men's basketball has its first signing of the 2025-26 transfer class, announcing the addition of Tavarus "Spudd" Webb, a transfer guard from Emmanuel University.
Webb spent the last three seasons with the Lions, scoring 1,413 career points, grabbing 563 rebounds and dishing 333 assists. In his three seasons at Emmanuel, Webb shot 54.5 percent from the field and 39.5 percent from three.
Webb was named First Team All-Conference Carolinas this season after averaging a career-best 20.6 points per game, leading the Lions in scoring with 618 points and shooting 55.6 percent (204-367) from the field, also shooting 80.
